The Community Legal Service (Scope) Regulations 2005

Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Community Legal Service (Scope) Regulations 2005 and shall come into force on 25th July 2005.

Section 2

In paragraph 1 of Schedule 2 to the Access to Justice Act 1999 , for sub-paragraph (a) substitute—

(a) allegations of personal injury or death, other than allegations relating to clinical negligence,

(aa) allegations of negligently caused damage to property,

Section 3

In paragraph 3(1) of Schedule 2 to the Access to Justice Act 1999 , before paragraph (a) insert—

(za) an application under section 42 for a restraint order;

Section 4

Regulation 2 shall not apply to applications for funded services made before 25th July 2005, and applications made before that date shall be treated as if that regulation had not been made.
