Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 (Amendment of List of Responders) Order 2005 and comes into force on 14th November 2005.

Section 2Amendment of Schedule 1 to the Civil Contingencies Act 2004
In Schedule 1 to the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 –
(a) in Part 1 (Category 1 responders: general), for paragraph 9(1) (the Health Protection Agency), substitute –
The Health Protection Agency established by section 1 of the Health Protection Agency Act 2004 in so far as its functions relate to Great Britain
(b) in Part 3 (Category 2 responders: general), after paragraph 29 insert –
Health
(29A) A Strategic Health Authority established under section 8 of the National Health Service Act 1977 .
