Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Millennium Commission (Reduction in Membership) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 1st October 2005.

Section 2Reduction in membership

(1) In paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 6 to the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 substitute “seven” for “eight”.

(2) For paragraph 1(1)(a) of Schedule 6 to the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 substitute “one shall be a Minister of the Crown, and”.
