Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the District of Stroud (Parishes and Electoral Changes) (Amendment) Order 2005.

(2) This Order shall come into force on the day after that on which it is made.

Section 2 Amendment to the 2001 Order

(1) The District of Stroud (Parishes and Electoral Changes) Order 2001 shall be amended as follows:

(2) In article 1(5) for the penultimate sub-paragraph substitute the following—

any reference to the map is a reference to the map marked “Revised (2005) Map referred to in the District of Stroud (Parishes and Electoral Changes) Order 2001”, of which prints are available for inspection at—

the principal office of the Electoral Commission; and

the offices of Stroud District Council.

(3) After article 12 shall be inserted—

(12A) Stroud District Council shall make a print of the map marked “Revised (2005) Map referred to in the District of Stroud (Parishes and Electoral Changes) Order 2001” available for inspection at its offices by any member of the public at any reasonable time.
