Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Solicitors (Compensation for Inadequate Professional Services) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 1st January 2006.

Section 2

In paragraph 3(1) of Schedule 1A to the Solicitors Act 1974 , for the figure “£5,000” there shall be substituted the figure “£15,000”.
