Section 1
These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Teacher Student Loans) (Repayment etc.) (Amendment) Regulations 2005 and shall come into force on 30th December 2005.

Section 2
The Education (Teacher Student Loans) (Repayment etc.) Regulations 2003 are amended as follows.
Section 3
After paragraph (1) of regulation 4 insert the following—
(1A) Where due to pregnancy or childbirth a woman has not entered into a contract of employment which commenced before 1st July 2005, the reference in paragraph (1)(c) to 2005 must be read as a reference to 2006.
