Section 1Citation and commencement

These Rules may be cited as the General Medical Council (Constitution of Panels and Investigation Committee) (Amendment) Rules 2005 and shall come into force on the 1st April 2005.

Section 2Consequential amendment

In the General Medical Council (Constitution of Panels and Investigation Committee) Rules 2004 in rule 6 (quorum) and rule 7 (validity of proceedings), after “a Panel” insert “a Registration Decisions Panel”.
