Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Prevention of Pollution) (Drilling Rigs and Other Platforms) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 1st March 2005.

Section 2Application of section 128(1)(e) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995

Section 128(1)(e) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995 shall apply in relation to drilling rigs and other platforms which are used, navigated or situated wholly or partly in or on water, as it applies in relation to ships.
