Section 1 Citation and Interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Higher Education Act 2004 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2005.

(2) In this Order “the 2004 Act ” means the Higher Education Act 2004.

Section 2 Provisions coming into force

The following provisions of the 2004 Act shall come into force on 1 April 2005:

Section 2;

Section 49 to the extent it relates to the provision of Schedule 6 specified below;

Paragraph 3 of Schedule 6;

Section 50 to the extent it relates to the provision of Schedule 7 specified below; and

In Schedule 7 —

the repeal in Schedule 1 of the Superannuation Act 1972 of the entry relating to the Arts and Humanities Research Board.
