Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Pension Protection Fund (Pension Compensation Cap) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 6th April 2005.

Section 2The compensation cap

The amount specified for the purposes of paragraph (a) of the definition of “compensation cap” in paragraph 26(7) of Schedule 7 to the Pensions Act 2004 (pension compensation provisions – compensation cap) shall be £27,777.78.
