Section 1Citation, commencement and application

(1) This Order may be cited as the Teacher Training Agency (Additional Functions) (England) Order 2005 and comes into force on 2 nd May 2005.

(2) This Order applies only in relation to England.

Section 2Conferring of additional function

The Secretary of State hereby confers on the Teacher Training Agency the additional function of administering any arrangements made by her under Part 2 of the Education Act 2002 for the provision of incentive payments to school teachers who teach a subject in respect of which there is a shortage of teachers.
