Section 1

(1) This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Sentencing) (Curfew Condition) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 4 th April 2005.

(2) In this Order “police area” has the meaning given by section 1 of the Police Act 1996 .

Section 2

The description of person responsible for monitoring the whereabouts of an offender subject to a curfew condition for the purposes of section 253(5) (curfew condition to be included in licence under section 246) of the Criminal Justice Act 2003 —

(a) in relation to such a condition imposed on an offender residing in a police area specified in Schedule 1 to this Order, is one employed by Premier Monitoring Services, PO Box 45, Norwich, NR3 1BF to monitor offenders; and

(b) in relation to such a condition imposed on an offender residing in a police area specified in Schedule 2 to this Order, is one employed by Securicor Justice Services, Sutton Park, 15 Carshalton Road, Sutton, Surry, SML 4LD to monitor offenders.
