Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Grants to the Churches Conservation Trust Order 2006 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Section 2Period for grants to the Churches Conservation Trust
The period beginning on 1 st April 2006 and expiring on 31 st March 2009 is hereby specified for the purposes of section 1(1) of the Redundant Churches and other Religious Buildings Act 1969 (“ the Act ”).
Section 3Aggregate amount of grants
The aggregate amount of the grants that may be paid under section 1(1) of the Act in the period specified in article 2 of this Order shall not exceed £9,000,000.
Section 4Revocation of previous Orders
The Grants to the Churches Conservation Trust Order 2000 and the Grants to the Churches Conservation Trust Order 2003 are revoked.
