The Police Act 1996 (Local Policing Summaries) Order 2006

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Police Act 1996 (Local Policing Summaries) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 1 st April 2006.

Section 2

(1) The matters specified in paragraph (2) are to be included in a local policing summary.

(2) The matters are–

(a) a statement of the police authority’s priorities for the year ;

(b) an assessment of the extent to which the police force met the priorities set for the previous year; and

(c) an assessment of the extent to which the police force has met the strategic policing priorities (if any) set by the Secretary of State .
