Section 1 Citation, commencement, application and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Health Authorities (Membership and Procedure) Amendment (England) Regulations 2006 and shall come into force on 1st July 2006.

(2) These Regulations apply in relation to England.

(3) In these Regulations, “the principal Regulations ” means the Health Authorities (Membership and Procedure) Regulations 1996 .

Section 2 Amendment of the principal Regulations

(1) In regulation 2 of the principal Regulations (membership of Authorities) paragraph (2) is omitted.

(2) In regulation 8 of the principal Regulations (termination of tenure of office), paragraph (8) is omitted.
