Section 1Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Change of Category of Maintained Schools) (Amendment) (No.2) (England) Regulations 2006 and shall come into force on 1st August 2006.

(2) In these Regulations “the Principal Regulations ” means the Education (Change of Category of Maintained Schools) (England) Regulations 2000 .

Section 2Amendment of the Principal Regulations

The Principal Regulations shall be further amended as follows.

Section 3Amendment of the Principal Regulations

In regulation 4(3), omit the word “secondary” in each place where it occurs.
