Section 1Citation

This Order may be cited as the Consumer Credit Act 2006 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2006.

Section 2Interpretation

In this Order “ the Act ” means the Consumer Credit Act 2006.

Section 3Commencement

(1) The provisions of the Act specified in Schedule 1 shall come into force on 16th June 2006.

(2) The provisions of the Act specified in Schedule 2 shall come into force on 1st October 2006.
