Section 1Citation, commencement and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Designated Activities) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 11th July 2006.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales.

Section 2Amendment of the Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Designated Activities) Order 2006

(1) Article 2 (designated activities) of the Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Designated Activities) Order 2006 is amended as follows.
(2) In paragraph (2)(a) omit “except in the cases specified in paragraph (3)”.
(3) Paragraphs (3) and (4) are omitted.

Section 3Revocation

The Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Designated Activities) (Amendment) Order 2006 is revoked.
