Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Derelict Land Clearance Area (Briar’s Lane, Hatfield) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 24th August 2006.

Section 2 Derelict Land Clearance Area

(1) Subsections (1) to (6) of section 1 of the Derelict Land Act 1982 shall have effect in relation to land in the locality shown on the map bounded by the outside edge of a bold black line as they have effect in relation to land in a development area or intermediate area.

(2) In paragraph (1), the “map” means the map marked “Map referred to in the Derelict Land Clearance Area (Briar’s Lane, Hatfield) Order 2006” and signed by authority of the Secretary of State, which has been prepared in duplicate and of which one duplicate has been deposited, and is available for inspection, at the offices of Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council and the other has been deposited, and is available for inspection, at the offices of the Secretary of State.
