Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Hadley Learning Community (School Governance) Order 2006 and comes into force on 8th September 2006.

Section 2 Relaxation of the Federation Regulations

In respect of the constitution of the governing body, the requirements of the School Governance (Federations) (England) Regulations 2004 are relaxed as follows:

(a) for the purposes of regulation 14(1)(a) and 14(2) the term “head teacher” means both the head teacher and the deputy head teachers of the federated schools; and

(b) for the purposes of regulation 21(1) the maximum size of the governing body shall be 24.

Section 3 Time period

This Order shall have effect until 7th September 2009.
