Section 1 Citation and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Work and Families Act 2006 (Commencement No.2) Order 2006.

(2) In this Order—

“the 2006 Act ” means the Work and Families Act 2006.

Section 2 Provisions coming into force on 1st October 2006

The following provisions of the 2006 Act shall come into force on 1st October 2006—

(a) section 11 in so far as it relates to paragraph 16(3) of Schedule 1 to the 2006 Act;

(b) Schedule 1, paragraph 16(1) in so far as it relates to paragraph 16(3) of Schedule 1; and

(c) Schedule 1, paragraph 16(3).
