Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Race Relations Act 1976 (General Statutory Duty) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 3rd October 2006.

Section 2 Amendment of Schedule 1A to the Race Relations Act 1976

Schedule 1A to the Race Relations Act 1976 is amended as follows:

(a) in Part 1, under the sub-heading “Other housing bodies”, omit the entry “Scottish Homes.”;

(b) in Part 2, under the sub-heading “Libraries, museums and arts”, omit the entry “The Royal Fine Art Commission for Scotland.”;

(c) in Part 3, under the sub-heading “Other Bodies etc. ”, omit the entry “The Pensions Compensation Board.”;

(d) in Part 4, under the sub-heading “Other Bodies etc ”, omit the entry “Bòrd na Gàidhlig (Alba)”; and

(e) after Part 4, insert the headings and entries set out in the Schedule to this Order.
