Section 1 Citation, commencement and application

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Optical Charges and Payments) Amendment (No.2) Regulations 2006 and shall come into force on 20th December 2006.

(2) These Regulations apply in relation to England only.

Section 2 Amendment of regulation 1 of the National Health Service (Optical Charges and Payments) Regulations 1997

In the definition of “ NHS sight test fee” in regulation 1(2) of the National Health Service (Optical Charges and Payments) Regulations 1997 —

(a) for “£50.77” substitute “£52.04”; and

(b) for “£18.39” substitute “£18.85”.
