Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Asylum (Designated States) (Amendment) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 1st January 2007.

Section 2

The list in section 94(4) of the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 is amended by omitting “(l) Bulgaria” and “(q) Romania”.
