Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Town and Country Planning (Costs of Independent Examinations) (Standard Daily Amount) (England) Regulations 2006 and shall come into force on 3rd January 2007.

Section 2 Application

(1) These Regulations apply in relation to England only.

(2) These Regulations apply in relation to any person appointed by the Secretary of State to hold an independent examination opening on or after the date on which these Regulations come into force.

Section 3 Standard Daily amount

The standard daily amount prescribed under section 303A(5) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 is—

(a) in relation to examinations opening on or after 3rd January 2007 and before 31st March 2007, £779;

(b) in relation to examinations opening on or after 31st March 2007 and before 31st March 2008, £879; and

(c) in relation to examinations opening on or after 31st March 2008, £993.
