Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Asylum (Designated States) (Amendment) (No.2) Order 2006 and shall come into force on the day after it is laid before Parliament.

Section 2

The list of States in section 94(4) of the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 is amended by omitting “(v) Sri Lanka,”.
