Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Commission for Patient and Public Involvement in Health (Membership and Procedure) (Amendment) Regulations 2006 and shall come into force on 1st April 2006.

(2) These Regulations apply in relation to England.

(3) In these Regulations, “the principal Regulations ” means the Commission for Patient and Public Involvement in Health (Membership and Procedure) Regulations 2002 .

Section 2 Amendment of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the principal Regulations

(1) In paragraph 1(4) of Part 1 of Schedule 2 (access to meetings and documents) to the principal Regulations, “Subject to paragraph 5,” is deleted.

(2) Paragraph 1(5) of Part 1 of Schedule 2 (access to meetings and documents) to the principal Regulations is deleted.
