Section 1

(1) This Order may be cited as the Gambling Act 2005 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2006.

(2) In this Order “ the Act ” means the Gambling Act 2005.

Section 2

(1) The following provisions of the Act shall come into force on 31st March 2006—

(a) section 166 (power to resolve not to issue casino licences);

(b) section 349 (duty on licensing authorities to prepare and publish a three-year licensing policy statement).
