Section 1Citation, commencement and application

(1) This Order may be cited as the Joint Waste Disposal Authorities (Recycling Payments) (Disapplication) (England) Order 2006.
(2) This Order comes into force on 1st April 2006.
(3) This Order applies in relation to England only.

Section 2Provision to disapply section 52(1) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990

Subsection (1) of section 52 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (payments for recycling and disposal etc of waste) is disapplied in relation to an authority established under regulation 2(1) of the Waste Regulation and Disposal (Authorities) Order 1985 and named in Schedule 1 to that Order.
