Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice Act 2003 (Commencement No.12) Order 2006.

Section 2

The following provisions of the Criminal Justice Act 2003 shall come into force in England and Wales on 6th April 2006—

(a) section 328 (criminal record certificates: amendments of Part 5 of Police Act 1997 ) in so far as it relates to the entries in Schedule 35 referred to in paragraph (c);

(b) section 332 (repeals) in so far as it relates to the entries in Schedule 37 referred to in paragraph (d);

(c) in Schedule 35 (criminal record certificates: amendments of Part 5 of the Police Act 1997)—

(i) paragraph 5, to the extent that it is not already in force, and

(ii) paragraphs 6, 8, 9 and 12; and

(d) in Part 11 of Schedule 37 (repeals) the entries relating to—

(i) section 125 of the Police Act 1997;

(ii) the Private Security Industry Act 2001 ;

(iii) the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 ; and

(iv) section 42 of the National Health Service Reform and Health Care Professions Act 2002 .
