Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Wireless Telegraphy (Radio Frequency Identification Equipment) (Exemption) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 and shall come into force on 14th May 2007.

Section 2 Amendment of the Wireless Telegraphy (Radio Frequency Identification Equipment) (Exemption) Regulations 2005

(1) The Wireless Telegraphy (Radio Frequency Identification Equipment) (Exemption) Regulations 2005 are amended in accordance with the following provisions of this regulation.

(2) In regulation 2—

(a) omit paragraph (a);

(b) omit paragraph (b);

(c) omit paragraph (e).

(3) In regulation 3 for “section 1(1) of the Wireless Telegraphy Act 1949” substitute “section 8(1) of the Wireless Telegraphy Act 2006 ”.

(4) In regulation 4 omit paragraph (2) in its entirety.
