Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Gambling Act 2005 (Exclusion of Children from Track Areas) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 1st September 2007.

Section 2 Amendment to section 182(2) of the Gambling Act 2005

Section 182(2) of the Gambling Act 2005 shall be amended as follows—

(a) at the end of paragraph (a) delete the word “and”;

(b) in paragraph (b) substitute “.” with “, and”; and

(c) after paragraph (b) insert—

(c) shall not apply to any other track on a day on which a race or other sporting event takes place, or is expected to take place, on the track.
