Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Football Spectators (2007 European Under-21 Championship Control Period) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 5th June 2007.

Section 2

(1) In relation to the external tournament known as the 2007 UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) European Under-21 Championship in the Netherlands, the period described in paragraph (2) below is a control period for the purposes of Part II of the Football Spectators Act 1989.

(2) The period referred to in paragraph (1) is the period beginning on 5th June 2007, being 5 days before the day of the first match which is included in the tournament, and ending when the last match included in the tournament is finished (which subject to postponement, is due to be on 23rd June 2007) or cancelled.
