Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order—

(a) may be cited as the Financial Assistance for Environmental Purposes Order 2007; and

(b) comes into force on 9th July 2007.

Section 2 Extent

This Order extends to England and Wales and Northern Ireland, except for article 3(a) which extends to England and Wales only.

Section 3 Variation of section 153(1) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990

In section 153(1) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (purposes for which financial assistance may be given)—

(a) for paragraph (uu), substitute—

(uu) the International Sustainable Development Fund;

(b) omit paragraph (ww).
