Section 1 Citation, commencement, application and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Day Care and Child Minding (Registration Fees) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 and come into force on 3rd September 2007.

(2) These Regulations apply only in relation to England.

(3) In these Regulations “the 2005 Regulations ” means the Day Care and Child Minding (Registration Fees) (England) Regulations 2005 .

Section 2 Amendment of the 2005 Regulations

(1) The 2005 Regulations are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 3 (applications for registration)—

(a) for “£18”, in each place where it appears, substitute “£20”;

(b) for “£150” substitute “£155”.

(3) In regulation 4 (periodic fees)—

(a) for “£14”, in each place where it appears, substitute “£15”;

(b) for “£120” substitute “£125”.
