(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Crime and Disorder (Prescribed Information) Regulations 2007 and shall come into force on 1st August 2007.
(2) In these Regulations—
“area” means a local government area;
“depersonalised information” means information that does not constitute personal data within the meaning of the Data Protection Act 1998 ;
“general postcode address” means the outward part of the postcode of an address;
“hospital” means a hospital as defined in section 275 of the National Health Service Act 2006 that provides services on behalf of a Primary Care Trust or a Local Health Board;
“information period” means each consecutive period of three months beginning on 1st July 2007;
“school” has the meaning given to it in section 4 of the Education Act 1996 ; and
“the 1998 Act ” means the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.
