Section 1 Citation, commencement and application

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Assisted Places) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2007 and come into force on 1st September 2007.

(2) These Regulations apply in relation to a school year beginning on or after that date.

(3) These Regulations apply only in relation to England.

Section 2 Amendment of the Education (Assisted Places) Regulations 1997

(1) The Education (Assisted Places) Regulations 1997 are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 10(4) and (6), for “£1,625” substitute “£1,675” in each place where it appears.

(3) In paragraph 1 of Schedule 2, for “£12,470” substitute “£12,864”.

(4) For the table following paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 2 substitute the following table—
