Section 1

(1) This Order may be cited as the Electoral Administration Act 2006 (Commencement No.3) Order 2007.

(2) In this Order “the Act” means the Electoral Administration Act 2006.

Section 2

(1) The provisions of the Act specified in paragraph (2) shall come into force on 7th February 2007 in so far as they extend to Northern Ireland.

(2) The provisions referred to in paragraph (1) are—

(a) section 17 (minimum age);

(b) paragraph 103 of Schedule 1 (amendments); and

(c) in Schedule 2 (repeals) the entries relating to—

(i) the Parliamentary Elections Act 1695 ;

(ii) the Election Act 1707 ;

(iii) the Parliamentary Elections (Ireland) Act 1823 ; and

(iv) the Family Law Reform Act 1969 .

Section 3

Section 52(4) to (6) of the Act shall come into force on 7th February 2007 for the purposes of local government elections within the meaning of section 22(5)(f) of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 .
