Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Community Legal Service (Costs) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 and come into force on 1st October 2007.

(2) In these Regulations a reference to a regulation by number alone is a reference to the regulation so numbered in the Community Legal Service (Costs) Regulations 2000 .

Section 2 Amendments to the Community Legal Service (Costs) Regulations 2000

In regulation 2—

(a) after the definition of “ CPR ” insert—

“Director” means any Director appointed by the Commission in accordance with the Funding Code and any other person authorised to act on his behalf, except a supplier;

(b) delete the definition of “Regional Director”.

Section 3 Amendments to the Community Legal Service (Costs) Regulations 2000

In regulations 10, 13, 20 and 23, in all places where it appears delete “Regional”.
