Section 1Citation and interpretation
(1) This Order may be cited as the Education and Inspections Act 2006 (Commencement No.6) Order 2007.
(2) In this Order, “ the Act ” means the Education and Inspections Act 2006.

Section 2Provisions coming into force on 1st January 2008
Section 5 of the Act comes into force in respect of special schools in relation to the local education authorities listed in Part 1 of the Schedule on 1st January 2008.
Section 3Provisions coming into force on 1st April 2008
Section 5 of the Act comes into force in respect of special schools in relation to the local education authorities listed in Part 2A of the Schedule and, in respect of primary schools , in relation to the local education authorities listed in Part 2B of the Schedule on 1st April 2008.
