Section 1Citation, commencement and application

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Optical Charges and Payments) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 2007 and shall come into force on 14th December 2007.

(2) These Regulations apply in relation to England.

Section 2Amendment of regulation 1 of the National Health Service (Optical Charges and Payments) Regulations 1997

In the definition of “ NHS sight test fee” in regulation 1(2) of the National Health Service (Optical Charges and Payments) Regulations 1997 —
(a) for “£52.04” substitute “£53.34”; and
(b) for “£18.85” substitute “£19.32”.
