(1) This Order may be cited as the Wireless Telegraphy (Limitation of Number of Spectrum Access Licences) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 8th March 2007.
(2) This Order shall not extend to the Channel Islands or to the Isle of Man.

(1) This Order may be cited as the Wireless Telegraphy (Limitation of Number of Spectrum Access Licences) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 8th March 2007.
(2) This Order shall not extend to the Channel Islands or to the Isle of Man.
(1) The following paragraphs of this Order apply to the grant of wireless telegraphy licences for the use of the frequency 1785 megahertz to 1805 megahertz in Northern Ireland.
(2) The persons to whom the wireless telegraphy licences will be granted shall be determined by OFCOM using the procedure set out in the Wireless Telegraphy (Licence Award) Regulations 2007 .
(3) The criteria for determining the number of wireless telegraphy licences to be granted are that the number of wireless telegraphy licences to be granted should be the number which is most likely to secure the optimal use of the electromagnetic spectrum and promote competition in the provision of electronic communication services having regard to the matters set out in section 3(1) and (2) of the Act.
