Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 (Amendment of Section 23) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 1st April 2007.

Section 2 Amendment of section 23 of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993

(1) Section 23(1) of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 (sums paid into the Distribution Fund and allocated for expenditure on or connected with the arts to be held for distribution by certain bodies) is amended as follows.

(2) In paragraph (a) (proportion of such sums so allocated to be held for distribution by the Arts Council of England), for “71.1 per cent” substitute “69.78 per cent”.

(3) In paragraph (e) (proportion of such sums so allocated to be held for distribution by the Film Council)—

(a) for “12.2 per cent” substitute “13.52 per cent”,

(b) for “Film Council” substitute “ UK Film Council”.
