Section 1 Notices

Rule 7(a) and (b) and the Schedule are hereby revoked.

Section 2 Prescribed time for objections to or representations on proposals

In Rule 8 of the Rules—

(a) for the heading there shall be substituted the following heading—

(b) after the words “section 3(1)”, in the first place where they occur, there shall be inserted the words “and section 7”; and

(c) after the words “section 3(1)”, in the second place where they occur, there shall be inserted the words “or, as the case may be, section 7”.

Section 3 Passing to Commissioners of objections or representations

For Rule 9 there shall be substituted the following Rule—

(9) Where objections or representations are received by the Board in response to a notice given under sections 3(1) or 7 of the Measure, the Board shall within five working days of receipt send such objections or representations to the Commissioners for consideration.

Section 4 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Rules may be cited as the Parsonages Measure (Amendment) Rules 2007 and shall come into force on 1st May 2007.

(2) Any reference in these Rules to a Rule or the Schedule is a reference to a Rule of or, as the case may be, to the Schedule to the Parsonages Measure Rules 2000 .
