Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Medical Act 1983 (Qualifying Examinations) Order 2008 and comes into force on 14th May 2008.

Section 2 Addition of new bodies to the list of bodies entitled to hold qualifying examinations

In section 4 of the Medical Act 1983 (qualifying examinations and primary United Kingdom qualifications), in subsection (2) , after paragraph (ae) insert—

(af) the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine;

(ag) a combination of the University of Brighton and the University of Sussex;

(ah) a combination of the University of Hull and the University of York;
