Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Cornwall) Designation Order 2008 and shall come into force on 5th May 2008.

Section 2 Designation of civil enforcement area and special enforcement area

(1) Subject to paragraph (2), the Secretary of State designates the County of Cornwall as—

(a) a civil enforcement area for parking contraventions; and

(b) a special enforcement area.

(2) This Order will not apply to parking contraventions in relation to parking places provided or authorised under section 32(1)(a) or (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 by any of the councils for the following districts—

(a) North Cornwall;

(b) Penwith;

(c) Carradon; and

(d) Kerrier.
