Section 1 Citation

This Order may be cited as the Northern Ireland (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2008.

Section 2 Commencement of provisions

(1) The provisions of the Northern Ireland (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 specified in paragraph (2) shall come into force on the day after the day on which this Order is made.

(2) The provisions referred to in paragraph (1) are—

(a) section 6 (alteration of registers: pending elections);

(b) paragraphs 1 to 6 and sub-paragraphs 7(2)(b) to 7(5) of Schedule 4 (minor and consequential amendments); and

(c) section 30(1) (minor and consequential amendments etc ) in so far as it relates to the provisions referred to in sub-paragraph (b).
