Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Public Service Vehicles (Operators’ Licences) (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 and shall come into force on 1 st August 2008.

Section 2 Amendments

The Schedule to the Public Service Vehicles (Operators’ Licences) (Fees) Regulations 1995 (the “principal Regulations”) is amended by substituting—

(a) in relation to fee number (i), “£224” for “£213”;

(b) in relation to fee number (ii), “£148” for “£141”;

(c) in relation to fee numbers (iii) and (iv), respectively—

(i) in column 3, “£148” for “£141”; and

(ii) in column 5, “£29” for “£28” in each place where it occurs;

(d) in relation to fee number (v), “£113” for “£108”;

(e) in relation to fee numbers (vii) and (viii), respectively “£58” for “£56”.

Section 3 Transitional provisions

Where a decision has been made before the coming into force of these Regulations on an application for the grant of a standard or restricted licence under section 14(1) of the 1981 Act , the fee prescribed in the principal Regulations immediately before the coming into force of these Regulations applies.
