Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 and come into force on 18th July 2008.

Section 2 Amendment of the Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) ( No. 2) Regulations 2006

The Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) (No. 2) Regulations 2006 are amended in accordance with these Regulations.

Section 3 Amendment of the Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) ( No. 2) Regulations 2006

In regulation 17(3) for “25,580 euro” substitute “27,115 euro”.

Section 4 Amendment of the Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) ( No. 2) Regulations 2006

For paragraph 8(1)(b) and (c) of Schedule 1, substitute—

(b) was ordinarily resident in England and settled in the United Kingdom immediately before leaving the United Kingdom and who has exercised a right of residence;

(c) is ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom on the relevant date;
