Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Welfare Reform Act (Relevant Enactment) Order 2008 and shall come into force on 1st September 2008.

Section 2Relevant enactment

A relevant enactment for the purposes of section 42(1) of the Welfare Reform Act 2007 (information relating to certain benefits) is section 93 of the Local Government Act 2000 (grants for welfare services).
